Since key criteria such as durability, counterfeiting threats, public recognition, levels of automation and the cash-cycle itself differ significantly from country to country, we address these issues so that a banknote design can be optimized and a central bank can get the best solution for their country.

Creating Artistic Content
Once the banknote architecture and content has been optimized, we shift the focus to artistic content. The entire banknote is a canvas, waiting to be painted so as to create a perfect marriage of security and aesthetics. Using the latest digital design and composition software, matched with laser-based origination equipment, ensures a seamless flow of information from the designer’s hand to the actual printing plate.

Consistent and Precise Origination
Origination materials ensure a direct transfer of the banknote design to the printing machine. Precision in origination results in more consistent and efficient production of banknotes. Our origination equipment is based on a laser engraving process, that gives us the highest levels of consistency and repeatability, while allowing us to create innovative and advanced designs, not possible when using traditional origination equipment.
